Vocalist, Lyra-cist, velvet menace, emotionally committed to the entire DARKWAVE vibe.
Lyra Noire delivers dramatic vocals, somber chic, wistfully staring into the void while singing about existential doom. Allegedly survived the Berlin underground on cigarettes, eyeliner, and Siouxsie and the Banshees.

Enigmatic pianist, composer, and architect of cabaret chaos. Jen X translates post-punk melancholy into piano-driven mayhem with suspicious enthusiasm. Known for turning nostalgic DARKWAVE songs into elegant emotional emergencies, preferably while wearing black and judging synthesizer presets from the 1980's.

Echos from the Underground

We first crossed paths in the Berlin underground scene decades ago — a world of dimly lit clubs, smoky rooms, synthesizers, bellowing voices, and endless nights devoted to music. Drawn together by a shared love of darkwave, post-punk, and ethereal soundscapes, we spent years immersed in the underground music culture, performing alongside and within circles connected to many iconic darkwave and gothic acts.

Life carried us through different creative journeys, but the music — and the connection — never disappeared. After years apart, fate brought us together once again to create Dark Wave Cabaret: a fusion of haunting vocals, expressive piano, gothic elegance, and the timeless spirit of the underground scene that shaped us.

Inspired by the sounds of artists such as Siouxsie and the Banshees,
Cocteau Twins, The Cure, The Smiths, and the darker corners of the 80s,
we reimagine beloved songs through a dramatic cabaret lens —
intimate, cinematic, and deeply atmospheric.
